For PBPA Members and Special Guests. Come join us as we celebrating another year of the Powell Business and Professional Association. We will also highlight three very deserving people, and their contributions to the Powell community!
The Man/Woman/Business Person of the Year committee shall consist of immediate recipient of the Business Person of the Year award and three other persons to be elected by the membership in September. This committee shall select the man and woman and business person of the year, using these guidelines:
a. The Man and Woman and Business Person of the Year shall be a resident of the Powell community or be employed in the local area for at least two years immediately preceding their selection.
b. The Man and Woman and Business Person of the Year shall be individuals who have contributed their time and efforts to a cause for advancement in the growth of the Powell community, who do not seek compensation or rewards for so doing, and may be in a field deemed appropriate by the committee.
c. In addition, the Business Person of the Year shall be a member in good standing of the Powell Business & Professional Association.
